Jason Ray Jones Jr.

Jason Roy Jones Jr., better known as Roy, age 77 of Lansing, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023 at his home.  Mr. Jones was born July 20, 1946 in Troutman, NC to the late Jason Roy Jones Sr. and Mary Ophelia Jones.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his son, Doug Jones.  Mr. Jones was a very charitable Christian man.  He owned Roy Jones Construction Company for many years.  He loved spending time at the beach, fishing and watching action movies.

Graveside services will be held at 5:00 pm, Saturday, September 9, 2023 at St. Michaels Cemetery in Troutman.

Mr. Jones is survived by his sons, Jason Jones better known as J. R. and Jeff Jones both of Lansing, one brother, Bobby Jones of Florida, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
