Willard Monroe Brown

Willard Monroe Brown, age 79 of North Wilkesboro, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center. Mr. Brown was born on May 5, 1941 in Kannapolis, NC to Spencer Monroe and Ethel Yvonne Wyatt Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Howard Brown.

Mr. Brown enjoyed fishing and loved going to car shows.

He is survived by:  son, Brad Brown of West Jefferson; daughter, Karen Milam of Trap Hill; two sisters, Linda Day of West Jefferson and Jean Transou of High Point; brother, Tommy Brown of Wilkesboro; also surviving are five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 11:00 am at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Steve Viers. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Flowers will be accepted.
