Violet Elizabeth (Young) Beck

Violet Elizabeth Young Beck, age 57 of Jefferson, died Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center.  Mrs. Beck was born August 19, 1961 in Chester, PA to the late Edlyn Davis and Mary McCoy Young.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by brothers, Edlynn David Young and Charles Ray Young and sisters, Nancy McCoy and Mary Roland.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 6 , 2019 at 1:00 pm at Friendship Baptist Church by Pastor Ken Jones.

Mrs. Young is survived by her husband, Melvin Ray Beck, brother, William Young and wife Melissa of Gastonia, mother-in-law, Geraldine Beck of Elkin, 5 brother-in-laws, 5 sister-in-laws, niece, Janey Hawkins and fiancée, Greg Parsons, great-niece, Amber Cleary, great-nephew, James Parsons, several great-great-nieces and nephews, including Mia, Ali and Ryland.
