Robert John Morgan, fondly known as Bobby, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at his home.  Bobby was born on January 5, 1950, in Houston, Texas, to the late John and Lovey Panko Morgan.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Susan “Suzie” Flick Morgan.

Mr. Morgan's life was a testament to service, beginning with his valiant commitment to his country during the tumultuous era of the Vietnam War. As a dedicated soldier in the United States Army, Bobby demonstrated unwavering courage and selflessness. Bobby found solace and companionship in the company of animals. He embraced creatures of all kinds and his home was a sanctuary for these beloved companions, where they were cherished and cared for with boundless affection. Professionally, Bobby was known for being a mechanic at Bill's Garage. His expertise and reliability were unmatched, earning him the trust and respect of customers throughout the community. In addition to his mechanical skills, Bobby also possessed a great deal of craftmanship. He found joy in refinishing antique furniture, transforming worn pieces into cherished heirlooms.

Mr. Morgan is survived by his daughter, Shelly Becker Cannon of New York, one brother, Mike Mills of New York, two grandsons, Jonny Scoble of Florida and James Cannon of New York.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 3:00pm in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens with Military Rites by Rev. Lloyd Day.
