Robert "Bob" Paul Brackins

Robert Paul Brackins better known as Bob, age 65 of Warrensville, died Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Ashe Memorial Hospital.  Mr. Brackins was born Friday, December 4, 1953 in Harford, Maryland to William Carron "Bill" and Charlotte Ruth Comer Brackins.  Mr. Brackins is preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Bill Brackins.  Bob worked at JR's convenience store for 14 years and he loved seeing the children that would come in the store.  In his spare time he also enjoyed fishing, bowling and watching sports and NasCar races.  Mr. Brackins served his country in the National Guard for 14 years.

Mr. Brackins is survived by his wife, Mary Brackins, son, Terry Jones of Jefferson, daughter, Tammy Roten of Warrensville, his father, Bill Brackins and step-mother, Imma Jean Brackins of Jefferson, three sisters, Debbie Anglemyre and husband, Doug of AZ, Dottie McKinney and husband, Jim of MD and Diane Ridgely of Creston along with one brother, Bruce Brackins and wife, Denise of MD.  Two grandchildren, Chris and Jada Roten both of Warrensville, one great-grandchild, Caden Roten and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 in the afternoon by Rev. Tommy Dollar, Pastor Sonny Thomas and Rev. John Waltermyer.  Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery with military rites.  The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 pm prior to the service.
