Richard Darrell Maltba

Richard Darrell Maltba, age 50 of Laurel Springs, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at his home.  Mr. Maltba was born on February 20, 1971 in Wilkesboro, North Carolina to the late Floyd Allen and Mary Elizabeth Roten Maltba.  Richard was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting.

Mr. Maltba is survived by: His wife, Roxanne Winebarger Maltba, step-daughter, Brittany Winebarger of Creston, step-son, Brady Severt of Laurel Springs, two sisters, Rebecca Rhodes of Roaring River and Debra Maltba of Hayes, three brothers, Tony Maltba of Creston, Gary Maltba of Laurel Springs and Johnny Maltba of Crumpler, two grandchildren, Carson and Brooklyn Winebarger and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at the Sheets Cemetery at 10:00am by Brother Gary Maltba.
