Ray Clifford Miller

Ray Clifford Miller, age 87 of Glendale Springs, died on Friday, February 14, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. Mr. Miller was born on February 1, 1933 in Wilkes County to the late John Rever and Ethel Huffman Miller. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jean Roten Miller; daughter, Delores Miller; brothers, Worth Miller, Jim Miller, Arnold Miller, Paul Miller, Andrew Miller, Clinton Miller and Arvil Miller; and a sister, Sara Jane Pariler.

Mr. Miller loved working with wood and in his vegetable garden. He was always good to everyone.

Mr. Miller is survived by:  one daughter, Darlene Blevins and husband Eugene of Glendale Springs; one sister, Grace Nye of Wilkesboro; also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Gardens by Rev. Russell Sheets.

Flowers will be appreciated.

The family is meeting at the homeplace in Glendale Springs.
