Peggy Jean (Baker) Barker

Peggy Jean Baker Barker, age 74 of Lansing passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 at her home.  Mrs. Barker was born on Saturday, June 9, 1945 in Covington, Virginia to the late Floyd and Margaret Sweet Baker.  Peggy enjoyed attending Landmark Baptist Church where she was a member.  She loved traveling, working with flowers and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Barker is survived by her husband, Rex Riley Barker, one daughter, Amy Sheryl Howell and husband Tim of Lansing, three grandchildren, Travis Bare, Josh Bare and Alexis Howell and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 11:00 am at Landmark Baptist Church by Rev. Fred Steelman and Rev. Allen Huffman.  Burial will follow in the Howell Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 3rd at Badger Funeral Home.
