Paul Ray Phelps

Paul Ray Phelps, age 70 of West Jefferson, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022 at his home.  Mr. Phelps was born May 11, 1951 in Forsyth County to the late John William and Ruth Byerley Phelps.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother, Avery Phelps. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, April 8, 2022 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Tommy McClure.  Burial will follow in the Scottsville Baptist Church Cemetery.  Mr. Phelps will lie in state from 10:00 – 11:00 am prior to the service. 

Mr. Phelps is survived by, 1 brother, William Phelps of Lansing, 3 sisters, Ruby Campbell of Winston Salem, Barbara Phelps of Lansing and Alice Roten of Jefferson.
