Paul Eugene McPeak

Paul Eugene McPeak, age 52 of West Jefferson, died on January 27, 2021 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 5, 1968 to Earl Grady McPeak and Madeline Mavis Mullins McPeak Wyrick. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Bobby Lee McPeak, Michael Mullins, and Earl Richard McPeak; and a sister, Cathy Ann McPeak.

Mr. McPeak attended Calvary Baptist Church and worked for Burgess' Body Shop. He enjoyed spending time with his little buddy Skylar.

Mr. McPeak is survived by:  two brothers, Earl McPeak (Susan) of West Jefferson, and Timmy McPeak of Lansing; four sisters, Christina Rash (Charles) of West Jefferson, Nyoka McPeak (Lloyd Lipscomb) of Welch, WV, Patricia Baldwin (Rockie) of Beckley, WV, and Frances Mullins (Shannon) of Roanoke, VA; special niece, Chasity Rash; special great-niece, Skylar Rash, his little buddy; special friends, Cindy Perry and Cody Roten; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Minister David Lyalls and Rev. Kirby McNeill. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of Ashelawn Memorial Chapel, 3470 U.S. Highway 221 North, Jefferson, NC 28640.
