Marcia Lorraine (Brown) Coldiron

Obituary

Marcia Lorraine Brown Coldiron, age 61 of Jefferson, died on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at her home. Mrs. Coldiron was born in Ashe County on January 5, 1961 to the late Jesse Clay and Lena Ruth Gore Brown. Marcia always enjoyed spending time with her animals and watching the birds from her window.

Mrs. Coldiron is survived by: her husband, Walter Coldiron, better known as Sonny; one son, Chris Coldiron and wife Andrea of North Wilkesboro; two brothers, Jerry Brown and wife Karen of Taylorsville and Johnnie Brown and wife Grace of Crumpler; one sister, Norma Adams and husband Mike of Crumpler; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Pastor Shane Pardue. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.
