Larry Kenneth Lyalls

January 7, 1952 ~ August 3, 2022 (age 70) 70 Years Old


Larry Kenneth Lyalls age 70 of West Jefferson passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Lyalls was born in Ashe County on January 7, 1952 to the late Vernon Robert and Hazel Dean Elliott Lyall. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Dale Lyall. Larry was a devoted employee of 25 years at Rid a Bug. He was a beloved dad and papaw.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and his dog, Molly who recently passed away.  Larry had a great sense of humor and often joked with his friends and customers.  He was also known as a major Donald Trump fan.

Funeral services will held on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 2:00pm at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Roy Putman. Burial will follow in the Wallace Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Saturday, August 6th at Badger Funeral Home. 

Mr. Lyalls is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Lyalls Barr and husband Randy of West Jefferson and Cassie Anne Marvel and husband, Steven of Lansing, son, Caleb Kenneth Lyalls and wife Meagan of West Jefferson, brother, Tony Lyall of Clemmons and sister, Dayna Leloudis of Clayton, grandchildren, Chloe and Maggie Parker and Macie Marvel. Several nieces and nephews also survive. 

The family will be meeting at the home of his daughter Stephanie at 222 Country Mountain Lane in West Jefferson.
