Kathy Ann (Turner) Smith

Kathy Ann Turner Smith, age 46 of Jefferson, died Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Ashe Memorial Hospital.  Mrs. Smith was born May 4, 1973 in Ashe County to Hamlin Fred Turner and Geraldine Roland Turner. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.  Kathy was a hard worker and cared for others.  She had a good heart and a beautiful smile.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 3, 2020 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev Tommy Dollar and Rev. Dean Shaw.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Smith is survived by, her husband, Paul Allen Smith II, daughters, Shelby Ann Dickens of West Jefferson, Danielle Nicole Pennington and Emmanuel Marie Pennington both of Jefferson, mother and step-father Geraldine and Joe Ray Turner of West Jefferson, father, Fred Turner of West Jefferson, brothers, Charles Ray Turner and Freddie Turner both of West Jefferson, sister, Amy Lynn Blevins of Warrensville, 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses c/o Badger Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., West Jefferson, NC  28694.
