Kathy Ann (Rash) Elliott

Kathy Ann Rash Elliott, age 57 of West Jefferson, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022 at Mission Hospital. Mrs. Elliott was born on January 13, 1965 in Ashe County, North Carolina to Dennis and Louise Rash. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Dianne Rash, Betty Jean Mullis and Linda Rash.

Kathy was a hardworking woman who fiercely supported her two daughters. She always found a way to help those in need. Mrs. Elliott was also a free spirit who loved animals and spending time outdoors.

Mrs. Elliott is survived by: two daughters, Jennifer Church of West Jefferson and Kimberly Herrera of West Jefferson, two sisters, Brenda Hawley of Hickory and Ruby Winebarger of Hickory, one brother, Henry Rash, three granddaughters, Nikki, Selina and Jazzy, three grandsons, Kaden, Kevin and Erin.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00pm on Wednesday December 7th, 2022 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel with funeral services to be officiated by Rev. Tim Roten immediately following the visitation.
