Obituary

Johnny Ray Eastridge Jr. better known as J.J. age 46 of Lansing passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at his home.  J.J. was born February 7, 1976 to Ray Eastridge and Robin Boggs in Ashe County.  J.J. was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert and Nadine South and Charles and Berdie Eastridge.

J.J. had a passion for working on vehicles. He loved to just go driving around listening to music. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He always liked to joke around with others and enjoyed getting others to laugh.

J.J. is survived by his wife, Kathy Wilcox Eastridge, sons, Brian and wife Savannah of Lansing and Sean of the home, daughter, Mikayla of Jefferson, his father Ray Eastridge and wife Polly of Ennice, mother Robin Boggs and husband Earnest of Warrensville, sister, Emy Eastridge of Jefferson, brothers, David Eastridge and wife Rhonda of Ennice, Anthony Eastridge also of Ennice and Kyle Boggs of Warrensville.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jim Francis.  The family will receive friends from 2:00-3;00 pm prior to the service.

Flowers will be appreciated or memorials may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses c/o Badger Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., West Jefferson, NC  28694.
