Jimmy Lane Miller "Jim Boy"

Jimmy Lane Miller "Jim Boy" age 54, of Lansing, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Ashe Memorial Hospital.  Mr. Miller was born on June 17, 1968 in Ashe County, North Carolina to Paul William and Lojeanne Miller.  Jimmy was preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Miller had a talent for both farming and craftmanship.  He found solace and joy in the intricate hobbies of clockmaking and woodworking.  His precision and attention to detail were evident in every timepiece or wood project he meticulously constructed, each one a testament to his skill and passion.  Jimmy also enjoyed gardening, he was legendary for his cucumbers among family and friends.  Aside from his gardening Jim Boy liked to spend time riding his side-by-side and being outdoors.  Family meant the world to Jimmy and he cherished every moment spent with them especially times playing with his grandbabies.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Crystal Miller, his mother, Lojeanne Miller of Lansing, four daughters, Brenda Francis of Galax, VA, Megan Noel Francis of Wilkesboro, Hannah Blevins and Kaitie Parsons both of Fleetwood, one brother, Randy Miller of Lansing, one sister, Briana Nethery (Maxwell Feigel) of Creston, two grandson, Braxton Paul Francis and Wesley Feige as well as his aunt, Candy Blevins of Warrensville.  Jimmy's fur baby, Molly and several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 2, 2023 at Badger Funeral Home from 2:00-4:00pm.  Graveside Services will follow in the Pond Mountain Cemetery by Minister David Lyalls.
