James Michael McMillian

James Michael McMillian age 60 of West Jefferson, died Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Davidson Hospice House.  Mr. McMillian was born January 15, 1958 in Lenoir to James David and Shirley Day McMillian.  He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Brenda Kay Carson.

James served in the US Navy as a radar operator on a destroyer.  His many hobbies included fishing, music, reading, working on clocks and automobiles.  He loved taking trips in his convertible with his dog, Shadow.

Memorial services will be held a later date.

Mr. McMillian is survived by, his mother, Shirley McMillian of West Jefferson and sister, Patricia Ann Severt of Lexington.
