James Junior Miller

James J. Miller, age 76, of Dover, DE passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Miller was born August 24, 1945 in Lansing, N. C. to the late James and Lora Powers Miller.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Virginia Dare Jones Miller, son, Bobby Miller, brothers; Bobby, Arlie, Avery and Arnold Miller and sister, Arlene Stansberry.

He retired from Chrysler in Newark, DE. He enjoyed NASCAR, boating, crabbing and spending time with his family, friends and his dogs Poochi and Bouser. He was a sweet, gentle soul who would do anything for anyone.

He is survived by his daughter, Shelia Davis and husband Michael of New Castle, DE, son, Johnny Miller of Dover, DE, grandchildren; Michael (fiance Samantha), Matthew, Caitlin, Dylan and Ashley and one great grandchild, Colson. He is also survived by his brothers; Guy, Austin, and Tom and sisters; Edith and Betty.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Speaker Bill Powers. Burial will follow in the Powers Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
