Edna Mae (Shepherd) Johnson

Edna Mae Shepherd Johnson, better known as "Pinky", age 79 of Lansing, died Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Margate Health & Rehab. Center.  Mrs. Johnson was born January 29, 1944 in York County, PA to the late Luther Edward and Leabelle Perry Shepherd.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Maynard Johnson, sons, Bobby Joe and Johnny Johnson, brothers, Donnie and Dannie Stamper and sisters, Rose Holman, Ethel Jones and Virginia Ruth Shepherd. Mrs. Johnson enjoyed painting, sewing and creating ceramic pieces.  Edna will be remembered as being like mother to many.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her son, Fred Allen Johnson of Lansing, brother, Dennis Stamper of Damascus, VA, sisters, Lou Flemming of Jefferson, Mary Barr and Anita Severt both of Konnarock, VA and Lisa Richardson of Sugar Grove, VA and grandchildren, Jeremy and Chris Johnson. 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11:00am at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Eric Cornett.  Burial will follow in the Howell Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am one hour prior to the service.
