Dorothy Dean Bare Hoppers, age 76 of Jefferson, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Margate Health & Rehab Center. Mrs. Hoppers was born December 6, 1945 in Ashe County to the late Woodrow and Faye Bare. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Arvil Bare.

A private service for family and friends will be held.

Mrs. Hoppers is survived by, her son, Lannie Hoppers of Boone, brothers, J. C. Bare of Sparta, Jerry Bare of Rock Hill, SC and Terry Bare of Laurel Springs. 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
