Bobby Gene Farmer

Bobby Gene Farmer, age 80 of Jefferson, died Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Forest Ridge Assisted Living. Mr. Farmer was born August 26, 1940 in Ashe County to the late Elmer Franklin and Lantie Graybeal Farmer. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by brothers, Franklin and Archie Farmer.  Bobby loved to play the guitar and banjo and take long walks.

Funeral services will be private.

Mr. Farmer is survived by, sisters, Shirley Calhoun and husband Bud of West Jefferson, Wanda Booker of Jefferson & Brenda Osborne and husband Danny of Grassy Creek, nieces, Belinda Stuart and Chrissy Osborne, nephews, Derek Calhoun, Mikey Calhoun, Johnny Farmer, Adam Farmer, Darin Farmer and Mikey Osborne.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses c/o Badger Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., West Jefferson, NC  28694.
