Barbara Ann Woods

Barbara Ann Woods, age 49 of Millers Creek, formerly of Ashe, died Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  Barbara was born April 3, 1971 in Ashe County to the late Joe and Peggy Hartsoe Woods.  Barbara was a kind and compassionate person who enjoyed spending time doing cross stitch, crocheting and diamond painting.  Her favorite activity was spending time with her fur baby, Peanut.

Funeral services will be private.

Barbara leaves behind her brother, Billy Woods and wife, Michele of Lenoir, sister, Lisa Woods Mabe and husband Steven of Millers Creek, nieces, Jessica Barker and Ashley Valdez, nephews, Noah and Nick Woods, great-nephews, Ben Barker and Aiden Stanley.  Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.  Barbara loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children.
