Virginia Burgess

Virginia Parsons Burgess age 71 of Jefferson, NC died Tuesday, September 3, 2002 at the Ashe Living Center. Mrs. Burgess was born on May 17, 1931 in Ashe County, NC to Tom and Carrie Bare Parsons.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 5, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Billy Joe Blevins will officiate. Burial will follow in the Parsons Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 5, 2002 from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Badger Funeral Home.

Sisters: Leona Hagger of Bluefield, WV
Melvinia Barnes of Crumpler, NC
Bessie Taylor of Jefferson, NC

Several nieces and nephews also survive.
