Tony Robert Jones

Tony Robert Jones, age 60 of Spruce Pine, died November 30, 2019 at Carolinas Healthcare System-Morganton. Tony was born August 26, 1959 in Ashe County to the late John Paul and Gladys Miller Jones.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Jones.  Tony loved to write short stories and science fiction novels.  He also enjoyed playing guitar, fishing and hunting.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Jones is survived by, sisters, Wilma Redmond of West Jefferson and Lois Ann Osborne and husband Jim of Jefferson, niece, Laura Allen and husband Jack, nephew, Scotty Wiles and wife Jay, great-nephew, Landon Allen. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
