Ronald Dean Blackburn

Ronald Dean Blackburn, age 62, of Lexington passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 at his home. Ronald was born February 18, 1959 in Ashe County to Howard Dean Blackburn and Lynelle Owen Blackburn. He was preceded in death by his father. Ronald was a graduate of West Forsyth High School and Davidson County Community College.  Ronald worked as a tool and die machinist and certified mold maker. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife Maria Ingram Blackburn; mother, Lynelle Blackburn of West Jefferson, sons; Dylan Evan Blackburn (Hayley), Chad Edward Blackburn; brother, Philip Owen Blackburn and mother in-law Belle Ingram, sister in-law Renee Teague, one niece; Heather Blizek (Ryan), three nephews, Kristian Blackburn (Cara), Sean and Zaine Tegue, great-nieces Liberty Anne Blizek and Emersyn Teague.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, August 28, 2022 at the Hartzog Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at his mother’s home following the service.
