Randy Thomas Pennington
Randy Thomas Pennington, age 58, passed away April 14, 2024. He was born October 23, 1965 in Ashe County to the late Sidney Pennington and Recie Zell Bare Testerman. Known for his thoughtful gestures, Randy will forever be remembered for always ensuring to mark special occasions with a heartfelt card for his loved ones. His genuine love for hunting, riding four-wheelers, basking in the sun at the beach, indulging in saltwater fishing, and cherishing moments with family defined Randy's vibrant spirit. His zest for life was infectious, and his presence will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In celebrating Randy's life, a Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by speakers, Gary Bare and Billy Howell. The family will receive friends following the service.
Randy is survived by his beloved daughters, Kimberly Griffin of North Wilkesboro and Jada Pennington of Jefferson; his fiance, Kay Phillips; step-son, Kevin Faircloth; his cherished grandchildren, Ava and Kara Griffin; also surviving is a loving aunt, Christine Brown.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses c/o Badger Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., West Jefferson, NC 28694.
Randy Thomas Pennington's life was a testament to the joy found in simple pleasures and the importance of forging lasting connections with those around him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.
