Lynn Marie

Lynn Marie, age 60 of Riverhead, NY passed away on Sunday April 6, 2025 at the Kanas Hospice Center in West Hampton Beach, NY. She was born in Concord, Mass. On July 10,1964 to Anthony III & Joanna Maglione.

Lynn was known for her talent and creativity, she was a floral designer after winning first place in the NY State for senior high school students in 1982. She loved quilting, crocheting, rug hooking, basket weaving and making folk art dolls. She also enjoyed storytelling and spending her free time at the beach. She would walk the beach for hours collecting beach glass and sea shells while listening to the Rolling Stones. She was a great cook and also made delicious cookies, cakes and pies.

She loved animals and was very fond of the different birds she had over the years from finches, cockatiels and parrots.

She was always thankful to everyone who attended to her needs throughout her long term illness.

A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday,  Aug.26, 1pm at St.Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Jefferson followed by interment at the cemetery on church grounds.
