Larkin Krandell Worley "Radar"

Larkin Krandell Worley, better known as, "Radar" age 66 of Crumpler passed away on July 3, 2023 at Ashe Memorial Hospital.  Mr. Worley was born in Watauga County, North Carolina on June 9, 1957.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathie Rash Worley as well as one brother, Doug Davis and his step-father, Howard Davis.

Mr. Worley will be remembered as a devoted friend to many, a loving father and grandfather and muscle car enthusiast.  His heart truly overflowed with love for his family and friends, his special personality created a circle of friends that could count on him through thick and thin.  Above all else he was a loving father and doting grandfather, he took immense joy in spending quality time with them, creating memories that will be treasured forever.  "Radar" also developed a love for muscle cars, fishing and hunting.

Mr. Worley is survived by two daughters, Vanessa Gardiner and husband, Nathaniel of Creston and Cassandra Renton and husband, Austen of Crumpler, three granddaughters, Makenna Renton, Erin Renton and Emmy Renton, his mother, Angeleen Ruth Davis of Todd, two sisters, Deb Stephens of Todd and Kim Miller of Fleetwood, two brothers, Johnie Davis and Corey Davis both of Todd, three uncles, Johnny Davis, Vincent Worley and Brannon Worley.  Several nieces, nephews and close friends also survive.

Celebration of life services to honor Mr. Worley will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 3:00pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Frankie Rash.  Entombment will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum of Prayer.  The family will receive friends following the service.
