Lacy Elwood Kilby

Mr. Lacy Elwood Kilby, age 74 of Millers Creek passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes Medical Center.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Lacy was born August 16, 1948 in Grayson County, VA to Woodrow and Ruby Owen Kilby.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Dale Kilby and Paul Kilby.

He is survived by his wife; Debra Phillips of the home, a son; Kevin Kilby (Ashley) of Westfield, a granddaughter; Maggie Kilby, a sister; Linda Roope (Cecil) of Mouth of Wilson, VA and a brother; Cecil Kilby of Tampa, FL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harmony Baptist Church, 3515 Boone Trail, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
