Jossie Combs

Jossie Samantha Blevins Combs age 94 of Fleetwood formerly of Lansing, NC died Friday, October 11, 2002 at the Segraves Care Center. Mrs. Combs was born on March 20, 1908 in Ashe County, NC to George W. and Inez Absher Blevins. Her husband George W. Combs preceded her in death.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, October 13, 2002 at 3:00 P.M. at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Kershaw Getty, Rev. Charlie McCoy, and Rev. Lonnie Carpenter will officiate. Burial will follow in the Scott-Blevins Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 13, 2002 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at Badger Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Scott-Blevins Cemetery Fund.

Sister-in-Laws: Inez Blevins of West Jefferson, NC
Ethel Blevins of Lansing, NC
Maude Blevins of Crumpler, NC
Helen Blevins of Maryland

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
