Gypsy Eileen Ellison

On August 11, 2025 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Gypsy Eileen Ellison, left us on the same day we met her, marking a brief but impactful chapter in the lives of those who loved her. 

She is survived by her devoted mother, Sierra Neaves of Lansing, and her father, Donnie Ellison of Boone. Gypsy also leaves behind her siblings, Nicholas, Natalie, and Brandon Neaves; her loving grandmother, Anita Neaves of Lansing, and her great-grandmother, Shirley Neaves of Lansing, great-grandparents, Dale and Carolyn Combs hold her dear in their hearts. Additionally, she is remembered by her aunts, Miranda Roark of Millers Creek, Mollie Brown of Crumpler, and Betty (Chris) Ellison of Boone, and special friend of the family, Jeff McClure of Lansing.

Gypsy is preceded in death by her brother, Ivan Moore. She also joins her grandparents, Don and Eileen Ellison, who have welcomed her into their eternal embrace.

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 pm, Tuesday, August 19, 2025 in the Neaves Cemetery.

Though Gypsy's life was fleeting, she brought joy and hope to her family, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. Her spirit will remain a guiding light to those she left behind, reminding them of the beauty and fragility of life.
