Genavea (Ball) Waddell

Genavea Ball Waddell, age 88 of Winston Salem, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem. Mrs. Waddell was born on December 25, 1933 in Forsyth County to John Gaither and Fanny Catherine Testerman Ball. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Bryan Waddell, a brother, Giles Ball and a sister, Genalea Davis.

Mrs. Waddell is survived by:  two sons, John Waddell of Kernersville and Terry Waddell of Rural Hall; one brother, Vaughn Ball of Winston Salem; also surviving are four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Pastor John Hackworth. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.
