Emmett Phillips

Charles Emmett Phillips, Sr. age 88 of Jefferson, NC formerly of the Idlewild Community died Monday, September 18, 2002 at the Watauga Medical Center. Mr. Phillips was born on July 11, 1914 in West Jefferson, NC to Arthur and Nannie Osborne Phillips.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Old Fields Cemetery. Rev. Bill Burchett will officiate.
