Edward Junior Roark, Jr.

Edward Junior Roark Jr. better known as June, age 77 of West Jefferson died Thursday, October 10th at Margate Health and Rehab. Mr. Roark was born on January 29, 1947 in  Ashe County to the late Edward Junior Roark, Sr. and Mae Stanley Roark. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Blanche Roark, Wilma Tolson and brothers, Estel, J. R., Quince, Jack, Robert, Luke, Bill, Grover and Jewel Roark.

Mr. Roark is survived by: one son, Tim Roark of Thomasville, two daughters, Annette McCormick and Sheri Debusk both of Lexington, one sister, Dorothy Hopkins of West Jefferson; one brother, Clay Roark of Creston; 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
