Edna (Boggs) Jones

Edna Boggs Jones, age 73 of Jefferson, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023 at Cranberry House Assisted Living in Newland.  Mrs Jones was born May 8, 1950 in Waterloo, Ohio to the late Charles and Dora Witherspoon Boggs. Edna enjoyed sewing, quilting and flower and vegetable gardening.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 30, 2023 at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Dean Shaw.

Mrs. Jones is survived by, her husband, Lonnie Jones and brothers, Ernest Boggs of West Jefferson and Larken Boggs of Wilkesboro.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
