Carl Sheets

Carl Jonas Sheets, age 64 of West Jefferson died Tuesday, October 1, 2002 at his home.
Mr. Sheets was born October, 14, 1937 in Ashe County to Doughton and Fairs Hamby Sheets. Mr. Sheets was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, October 4, 2002 at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Rev. Chris Goodman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 till 9:00 PM, Thursday, October 3rd at Badger Funeral Home.

Special Son: Benjamin Romans of the home

5 Brothers: Cecil and Dean Sheets both of Laurel Springs, NC
Coy Sheets of West Jefferson, Fred Sheets of Lenoir, NC and
Hobert Sheets of Boone, NC

Sister: Mary Lou Severt of West Jefferson, NC

4 grandchildren also survive
