Carl Lee Farmer

Willard Carl Farmer, better known as Carl Lee, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025 at the Shaire Nursing Center in Lenoir, North Carolina, he was 93 years old. He was born on September 27, 1931 in Creston, North Carolina. Carl was the last of thirteen children born to Willburn and Fannie Osborne Farmer. He was raised in the family home on Roundabout Road in Creston and later moved to Lenoir where he made his home and worked for Blue Ridge Electric Company.

He always enjoyed going to Ashe County and visiting the old home place and relatives there. He loved people and had many good friends and a special neighbor Riley Todd and family who helped him so much.

Carl is survived by a precious sister-in-law, Ann Farmer who helped care for him for many years, as well as several nieces and nephews.

To honor Carl’s wishes there will be no formal services.
