Brenda Coffey Kaelin

Brenda Coffey Kaelin age 64 of Crumpler, passed away peacefully with her kids and most of her grandkids by her side at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem on July 2, 2023. Brenda was born November 6, 1958 in Watauga County, NC to Floyd and Nellie Coffey. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Kaelin, sister, Cleta Buckner, son, Michael Huffman, grandson, Michael Rhodes Jr, niece, Rachel Pardue and nephew, Jason Buckner.

Brenda leaves behind her children, Jean Pruitt (Scott) of Fleetwood, April Eicher (Travis) of Crumpler and Sara Rhodes (Mike) of West Jefferson. Grandchildren, Brandon Pruitt (Julie), Morgan Pruitt (Alex) of Fleetwood, Sierra Eicher (Corey) of Crumpler, Cheyenne Rosales (Alex) of West Jefferson, Alexis and Autumn Rowland of Crumpler, Michael Rhodes better known as Lil man of West Jefferson and Stephanie Eicher of Crumpler. Also, one sweet, loving, great granddaughter, Willow Pruitt of Fleetwood.

She is also survived by her sisters, Carolyn Paisley (Mike) of West Jefferson, Bonnie Faulkner of Crumpler and Carla Coffey (Ronnie) of Lenoir. Nephews more like sons, Daniel Davis (Rosie) of Crumpler and Josh Taylor of Lenoir. Her special friend and caregiver, Nettie Miller of Lansing. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 11:00 am at Boone Fork Baptist Church Cemetery in Blowing Rock, NC.
