Barbara Marie (Fowler) Turner

Barbara Marie Fowler Turner, age 88 of Crumpler passed away Friday, October 28, 2022 at her home.  Mrs. Turner was born August 5, 1934 in Wilkes County to the late Leonard Wilson Fowler and Sally Andrews Hutchens.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Houston Turner, son, Ronald Turner, brothers, Henry Dillard Fowler and Sherman James Fowler and sister, Betty Lou Bell.  Barbara enjoyed gardening, working in her flowers, sewing and spending time with her cats.

Private graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the Fowler-Brown Cemetery.

Mrs. Turner is survived by, daughters, Lisa Beddington of Advance and Melinda Oates of Walnut Cove and son Michael Smith of Winston-Salem.  13 Grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
