Amanda Nichole Hodges

Amanda Nichole Hodges, age 43 of South Carolina, formerly of Lansing, North Carolina passed away on December 9, 2025, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Boone, North Carolina, she is the daughter of Jerry Lewis Shepherd and Lisa Stuart Roberts of Ashe County, North Carolina.

Amanda worked as a manager at Landscape Supply, where she was known for her caring spirit, strong work ethic, and kind heart. She had a loving and gentle nature, and her greatest joy in life came from her children. She cherished every moment spent with them, especially their time together collecting rocks a simple pastime that brought her immense happiness and created treasured memories.

She is survived by her husband, Robert D. “Bobby” Hodges; her beloved sons, Justice Malachi Hodges and Silas Hodges of the home; her aunt and second mother, Debbie Stuart Miller (Michael) of Lansing, North Carolina, in whose home Amanda was lovingly raised. She also shared a special lifelong bond with her cousin, Laniece Holman (Dustin) of Wilmington, North Carolina, and adored Laniece’s children, Alexandria and Emmaline.

Amanda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward Mitchell “Mick” and Shelby Stuart, whom she loved deeply, and her brother, Nicholas Ryan Shepherd.
