Herman Howard Miller

Mr. Herman Howard Miller age 70, of Lansing, NC died on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Mr. Miller was born on May 17, 1942 in Ashe County to Gordon Wiley and Verna Wingler Miller. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother and 2 sisters. Mr. Miller loved to watch the Dodgers play baseball. He worked at Sprague and United Chemicon for over 45 years. He was faithful to attend church as long as his health allowed.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bill Miller, Pastor Sonny Thomas. Burial will follow in Glendale Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Badger Funeral Home.

3 sisters - Nellie Dixon of Laurel Springs, Myrtle Stanley of Hayes & Reecie Roten of Wilkesboro

4 brothers - Russell Miller of OK, Arvil Miller of Honaker, VA, Donald Miller of West Jefferson & Bronard Miller of Laurel Springs

1 grandchild: Heather Lynn Hardin, 5 step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
