Jeanne Carnell Woody

Jeanne Carnell Woody age 98, of Laurel Springs, NC died on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Woody was born on March 4, 1916 in Cleveland, OH to Bert and Hazel Coleman Carnell. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roy Francis Woody.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Laurel Fork Church. Burial will follow in the Woody cemetery in Laurel Springs. The family will receive friends following the graveside service in the church fellowship hall.

Mrs. Woody is survived by: Daughter, Linda Lee Woody of Laurel Springs, Son, Dick (Suzi) Woody of Hanes City, FL, Son, Steve (Debbie) Woody of Coeur d'Alene, ID, Son, Kenny (Barbara) Woody of Cheyenne, WY; Granddaughters, Robyn Atwood, Cheryl Pegram, and Alisa Woody; Grandsons, Roy Woody, Gordon Woody, and Jeff Woody; Great-Grandchildren, Amanda Whitaker, Kristin Priesand, Dennell Ellis, Drew Pegram, Ethan Pegram, Kenny Woody, Johnny Woody, Taryn Woody, Nolan Woody, and Brenden Woody; Great-Great-Grandchildren, Macey Whitaker, Olivia Whitaker, Abilene Ellis, and Nate Priesand; 4 great-great-great granchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
